What we check

Missing values
Columns with gaps that make averages, counts, and AI answers unreliable.
Duplicate rows
Repeated records that quietly inflate totals in every report.
Numbers stored as text
Values with £, commas, or % typed in that SUM and Power BI ignore.
Inconsistent dates
Mixed formats that turn 03/04 into March in one row and April in the next.
Inconsistent labels
The same category spelled different ways, counted as different things.
Structure problems
Missing headers, blank rows, and total rows mixed in with the data.
Yes. The check runs entirely in your web browser. Your file is never uploaded to our servers. If you choose to get the full findings by email, we send only the scores and findings, never the contents of your file.
Excel workbooks (.xlsx) and CSV files up to 10 MB. If your workbook has several sheets, you choose which one to check. Older .xls files need to be saved as .xlsx first.
The score combines four areas: completeness, consistency, uniqueness, and structure. 85 or above means the data is in good shape for dashboards and AI tools. Below 50 means reports built on it are likely to show wrong numbers.
AI assistants answer questions from the data you give them. If the same customer appears twice or numbers are stored as text, the AI will confidently give the wrong answer. Clean data is the foundation for useful AI.
A person reviews your results and your sheet structure, then sends a written report with a prioritised fix plan, time estimates, and recommendations for your reporting setup.
